Per discussion at the KubeCon EU Maintainer Summit (cncf/maintainer-summit#87), introducing AI-driven tooling to handle initial "first-pass" PR reviews can help maintainers better focus their limited bandwidth on high-level architecture and critical design decisions, instead of things more related to code quality.

This request builds upon the existing discussion in #5930 regarding CodeRabbit integration, though I am open to exploring any effective tooling.
Currently, I have been testing GitHub Copilot reviews within the agent-sandbox repository. However, because it is not enabled at the org level, it's not available to PR authors without a Copilot subscription, so it won't trigger auto-review on most PRs.
Additionally, I can use https://github.com/gke-labs/gemini-for-kubernetes-development too. This is an open-source tool developed and funded by my team at Google, specifically optimized for Kubernetes OSS code reviews. This won't require direct GitHub integration or subscription, but only require verbal approval from GitHub admins (per kubernetes/community#8910).
